Behaviour Consultations & Rehabilitation Training

Behaviour problems can cause a great deal of stress for both dogs and their people. They can include:

  • Barking

  • Aggression

  • Reactivity on lead

  • Fear of noises

  • Separation distress

  • Repetitive behaviour

  • Other fear-based behaviours

Most often the behaviour is irrational/abnormal, disruptive to the household and detrimental to the health and welfare of the dog.

These types of issues are not solved with regular training or classes but require a combined approach, including environmental management, behaviour modification and possibly assessment and treatment by a behaviour veterinarian. Each case needs a personalised plan and ongoing support, and vet referrals are made as suitable.

Sophie is available for in-home consults through Australian Veterinary Behaviour Services, SA's only behaviour-focused vet clinic in McLaren Vale.
